“Robert Ballard, discoverer of the Titanic, the German battleship Bismarck and numerous other contemporary and ancient shipwrecks around the world, will deliver the keynote address at Monroe Community College’s 5th Annual Scholars’ Day” at  MCC’s Brighton Campus Theater, Building 4, 1000 East Henrietta Rd. on Saturday, April 27 at 1pm.

Autonomous Robotic Jellyfish

 

 

” Virginia Tech researchers have introduced an autonomous robotic jellyfish the size and weight of a grown man – 5 foot 7 inches in length and weighing 170 pounds – as part of a U.S. Navy-funded project. This prototype robot is nicknamed Cyro, and is a larger version of a robotic jellyfish named RoboJelly that was introduced in 2012. “
